Following the national address by the President of South Africa relating to the global Corona (Covid-19) virus outbreak and the steps that government are implementing, we assure you that we are prioritising the continued uninterrupted provision of service to our clients, while ensuring the necessary wellbeing of our staff.

As a software company, over the past few years, we have taken advantage of the technology available to work remotely and support our customers online. Our consultants, support staff and help desk are available as normal. We have instructed all staff to work from home.

Internally, we are using Microsoft teams for video collaboration since we are on Office 365 but I can recommend Zoom for online meetings which is free of charge. Teamviewer has been around for some time and enables us to log in remotely to your PC’s to assist employees if required.

If you are implementing a work from home policy, we can help set up your users to access SmartHR from their desktops. There are no additional licenses required. We also offer a managed SmartHR cloud option should you want to migrate from on-premise to cloud installation.

Each business will experience the impact of the Covid-19 differently. We are constantly thinking of new ways that your SmartHR software can add value to your employees and business during this period. We are focusing our development efforts on incorporating tools that can make remote working easier.
